Allergy Treatment

Immunotherapy is a form of treatment which exposes your immune system to very small doses of allergens from the environment via injection or under the tongue. This desensitizes your immune system to these allergens and reduces severity of allergy symptoms.

Women’s Health

Fertility, perimenopause and menopause are all hormonally driven stages of a
woman’s life. Stress, environmental factors and/or genetic predisposition can cause disruptions and symptoms during these normal hormonal processes. Naturopathic medicine can help reduce interruptions and support the body to restore balance and reduce symptoms.

Contraceptive Management

Initiation of hormonal and non-hormonal methods of pregnancy

Integrative Mental Health Treatment for Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Insomnia

There are herbs and nutritional supplements specific for treating mental health conditions- alone or in combination with medications. With mental health treatment I collaborate with the patient to choose the least invasive methods first. Sometimes medications are a necessary and effective tool, in this case we can enhance the treatment with supportive herbs and vitamins.

Hypothyroidism Management

Dietary treatments, nutritional supplements and modification of existing thyroid replacement therapy can help restore thyroid balance and reduce symptoms from hypothyroidism.

Chronic Condition Support

Chronic conditions include diseases such as Diabetes, Hypertension, Asthma,
Autoimmune Disease, Inflammatory Bowel Disease. One’s baseline health status can be supported via Naturopathic treatments in order to best live with a chronic condition. Many of these conditions can be managed without medication and with Naturopathic medicine alone. Sometimes Medications are necessary and lifesaving- in this case Naturopathic Medicine is important to help reduce medication side  effects and or protect from other complications of an illness or medication.
