About dr. Kithil

Dr. Christy Kithil grew up in Santa Fe where she lived until 2006 when she left to pursue a degree in Medicine. She discovered the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon and was captivated by the notion of a medical degree where she could interweave two of her strongest passions-nature and human medicine. She graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine in 2012 with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine.

In her training, she fostered her desire to bring alternative healthcare options to a community health setting in a safe and practical way. She worked as a Primary Care Provider at a Community Health Center in Portland Oregon from 2013-2021. In this role she provided treatment plans which included both standard of care treatments and alternative treatments to best suit the needs of each individual patient. As a Primary Care Provider her areas of focus included Women’s Health and Contraception, Gender Affirming Care and Transgender Hormone Replacement Therapy, Integrative Mental Health Treatment, and Respiratory Allergy Treatment including Injection and Sublingual Immunotherapy. Other avenues of training and experience include Pediatric Vaccine Counseling, Craniosacral Therapy and Myofascial Release.

Christy has returned to her home state of New Mexico eager to provide the type of healthcare for Santa Fe and New Mexico communities that she would want for herself and her family.
